This course, which accompanies The Peanut Ball book by Cheri Grant available on Amazon, is intended to provide affordable training for all birth workers. As part of this course, you will be able to view videos of most of the positions so that you can use peanut balls with confidence at work. You will also receive a copy of the ten slides to help remind you of the positions, you can show your client on why and where the peanut ball may be placed, and she can consent or decline. The course lasts approx. 3 hours.
The course concludes with a multi-choice test and an assessment. Please try out all of the positions before doing the assessment so that you can understand why it is so important to have the appropriate size ball for each woman you support during labour. Once you have consolidated your knowledge, the assessment is to provide a short video of you sizing peanut balls for the positions mentioned in the assessment. A certificate will be awarded to you upon successful completion of the course.
