About Us

My name is Wendy Proctor and I help – mums, and mums to be.

I’m a qualified NHS midwife and experienced pregnancy massage therapist, based in Bristol.

I would like to offer you a very special bespoke experience on all the services I provide.  My passion is caring and supporting you during this sometimes amazing, fabulous, joyful, anxious and stressful time.

As an experienced midwife I have a wealth of knowledge to help and support your during this time of pregnancy.  I’ve created a range of services and invite you to have a look through the tabs of pregnancy, birth and beyond then my wonderful unique in-person and online antenatal and postnatal courses too.  My aim is to give you the very best care. I’m available most days, and now offer a Private Midwife Consultation servcie, to answer any questions you may have, for the very best outcome for both of you and your baby.

I’ve been interested in complementary therapies for over 20-years. Especially those that enable me to genuinely help women through their pregnancy, into motherhood: Treatments that make a real difference to mum and to baby.

I’ve learnt so many things that are not taught in our formal midwife training – and with Hypnobirthing and Biomechanics/Peanut Balls I’m able to help reduce instrumental delivered babies, caesarean births and lessen long and painful labours. I’m also qualified to massage women from their first trimester, to labour. This includes clients who may be deemed at higher risk – including diabetes and hypertension.

As well as massage treatments, I offer courses, including Calm and Confident Hypnobirthing and Mindful Breastfeeding for my trust NBT.  Also from my shop I offer an e-Learning Online version of Mindful Breastfeeding for you to work through in your own time at home, plus my latest course Confident Parenting which is available as a theory online course or a theory with in-person practical elements.  Using hypnosis I also offer birth trauma recovery if your previous birth experience causes you anxiety, stress or sleepless nights, also recently added a module for baby loss and miscarriage.

Gift vouchers remain a hugely popular, and appreciated gift for friends, family or work colleagues on their journey to motherhood.

My qualifications are with the Association of Physical and Natural Therapies (APNT), in which I hold current membership Federation Holistic Therapies (FHT), and I’m insured with Balens.
